Hunger Games Game
“Write Up”
By Joseph and Rowen
In our game, we have represented many
characteristics of the story. We have used Katniss’ bow and arrow
as the main “tool”, we have used characters from the story and we
have placed them in a “Good” or “Bad” chart. The chart may
not be exactly accurate, but that is because many of the novel’s
characters are vague in their relationship with Katniss, such as
Thresh. He is a fellow tribute, and therefore is considered an
“enemy”, but at the same time, he lets Katniss live and she
wanted him to win if she, Peeta or Rue did not. I guess being a
fourth choice wouldn’t be ideal, but it would be better than being
an antagonist, such as Cato. Also, in the targets, we have added
citations to several of the cards, giving explanation to them from
the story. The game actually took longer than expected to create and
the bow was defiantly the hardest thing to make, taking about as long
as the entire rest of the board.
